the below rules are relatively simple and are hopefully lenient enough to be able to follow without
problems. note that these do not necessarily line up with general feralheart rules, and that by following
you're acknowledging and agreeing to oblige by them so long as you're active in the roleplay!
ooc -
i. swearing is allowed (from the level of damn to fuck), so long as it isn't unnaturally over-frequent and no discriminatory slurs are used.
ii. swearing at other members is also permitted, but if asked to stop, that's the end of directing it to that particular person. all of this, of course, has to be kept in good nature; don't insult people and make sure that the tone of the conversation is fairly obvious to avoid confusion!
iii. try to be nice to people, keep drama to a minimum, etc. if someone asks you to drop a conversation topic for whatever reason then please oblige. there's no reason to make anyone unnecessarily uncomfortable.
iv. we're not using terms like 'literate' here because they're over-generalised and kind of meaningless, but you should be roleplaying in third person paragraph, using NORMAL WORDS / PHRASES and not overly-complex wolfspeak (needlessly utilising scientific terms, basically). just say ears, nothing else. if you see someone contradicting this rule to the point of over-excessiveness, then point them towards number four.
v. actually roleplay! don't get on and just sit around! it really irks me when i join a group and no-one wants to do anything. it's okay to have OOC chatter and it's understandable if you have other things to work on but would like to keep the tab open, but don't make getting on and doing nothing a habit.
vi. because this roleplay allows swearing and generally more mature themes (nothing sexual, just descriptions of gore, swearing / other insults, potential for situations to be considered psychologically traumatising for characters, mistreatment, et cetera et cetera) there's a sort of honour system that we'll run by with. if you get mad at one person or another, you don't take screenshots of them swearing or writing other things and report it to a moderator out-of-context. this is only for what goes on INSIDE the map or INSIDE the group chat, though. if you act out in public against the normal feral heart rules and you get reported, then that's your own fault.

i. keep character design realistic. remember this is based around a more realistic appeal of dogs; keep colors natural (though tiny artistic liberties, like eye color & what not, can be taken! just nothing over-the-top or too unreasonable like red eyes).
ii. ask about hybrid type characters or wolf-mixes, we don't that many in here because this is a dog roleplay. dogs woof woof.
iii. post cutting is allowed to keep the flow of things good & dandy! just try not to be obnoxious about this liberty by posting short posts in rapid succession.
iv. follow proper character guidelines when you make your character.
v. believe in variety. add that shady german shepard; the too-cheerful dalmation, the power-hungry doberman, the egotistical great dane. whatever. i'm tired of seeing roleplays with too many set restrictions on in-character behaviour (believing that all must fall in line with unwavering respect for in/out of character authority). that's not the case; do whatever you want, have your own set of morals, roam a little free-er and with some extra creative incitement. a good cast of quality characters that have nice contrasts or compliment one another leads to an interesting roleplay, where big plot events where 'extra special people' get picked to take part of it don't even need to be made just to keep everyone online. do all this in reason, though.
vi. character designs should be based off of real dogs or ginga densetsu weed / ginga nagareboshi gin designs.
